HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
It is the policy of the company, as formulated by its directors, to do all that is necessary to observe and comply with all the requirements and regulations, whether existing or new of the region and such other orders and regulations as may be introduced.
As in the past, so for the future, the company will continue to provide working conditions that are the safest and healthiest possible in all circumstances. It is confident that it has the full support of all employees in achieving these aims.
The broad policy aims of the company are summarized below and alternative sections set out the detailed organization and arrangements necessary for carrying out that policy as follows:
continue to provide and maintain a working Toenvironment which, so far as is reasonably practicable, is safe without risk to health and adequate as regards welfare facilities and arrangements.
To continue to maintain and service safety committees, with both management and employee representation to secure, so far as is reasonably practicable joint consultation regarding the proper operation and effectiveness of company policy on such health and safety orders and regulations are in force in the region.
To continue to provide such information, instruction, safety plans, risk assessment, and associated methods of control, training, and supervision as is necessary for the implementation of company policy so as to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of its employees while at work.
To continue to conduct the affairs of the company in such a manner as to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that the third parties are not exposed to risks to health or safety arising out of its employees at work.
To continue to provide and maintain such plant, tools, and equipment as are necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable that work can be carried out safely and without risk to health. Particular regard will be paid to the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and hazardous substances for use at work.
To continue to provide, so far as is reasonably practicable, systems of work in all places and on site being worked upon by employees which are safe and to ensure that proper means of access and egress exist and are maintained at all times.
To continue to maintain a procedure for monitoring and reporting accidents and hazardous or dangerous occurrences, particularly those which may involve personal injury, for such information to be analyzed and to regularly monitor and present such records and information to all management levels and safety committees with a view to identifying and safeguarding against new or unidentified hazards and checking on the frequency of such hazards.
To establish, implement and maintain a set of objectives for each of its workplace and key departments as part of the company's commitment to continual improvement of its OH&S Management System and performance
